Parallax AV Design Inc. is an audiovisual design, integration, and control system programming company based in Northport, New York. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site, submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form connected to one of our ads, request a quote, book a consulting call, or email us, we collect the information you provide. That typically means your name, work email address, phone number, company name, and job title, along with anything you write in a message field.
Information collected automatically. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. This includes your IP address, browser type, referring page, and which pages you view. We use Webflow to host this site and may use analytics and advertising tools, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which allows LinkedIn to record that you visited and to report on the performance of our ads.

We advertise on LinkedIn and may advertise on other platforms. These platforms may use cookies and pixels to show our ads to people who have visited this site or who match a list of companies we have provided. We do not upload personal contact lists to advertising platforms for the purpose of individual targeting.
You can control LinkedIn's use of your data for advertising in your LinkedIn account settings, and you can manage advertising cookies through your browser settings or through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer choice page.
We keep inquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of our business relationship, and afterward as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Project records are retained for the life of the system we designed or programmed, since that documentation is often needed years later for service and upgrades.
You can ask us to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email us and we will act on the request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, and we will honor those rights where they apply.
